Welcome to Solar Garden Lights

I've always been fascinated by garden lights, ever since i saw my friends garden that was beautifully decked out with them, following the line of the garden path the solar garden lights provided a beautiful serene glow which illuminated the path in its gentle light. Not only did i find this quite beautiful but also very functional, particularly after having stumbled down the path at night after one too many glasses of wine! For me these solar garden lights work on two distinct levels, not only do they provide a functional glow at night which lights your way down the garden path for example, but also they are doing their part to help save the environment which is becoming increasingly more important in this day and age. Not only do we get to decorate our garden and bath it in a stunning glow of light but we can also feel good about it as we do it, for me it's a win win situation and partly why i took the decision to start this site.

If it was up to my i would have our entire garden and driveway decked out with solar garden lights, however hubby has put a stop on this and i think he fears coming home one day and being blinded by an array of them, ha! I have to agree though when used sparingly and tastefully they have a stunning effect. I love how the soft glow they emit lights up the rest of the garden just enough to show it off at night but not be too overly bright.

What to expect from your solar garden lights

As already mentioned i can also feel good about using these solar garden lights as they use the power of the sun to give them their light which i think is great and means no messy wires are cables to hide or plug in and apart from the initial cost there is no electricity bills to pay either! I did initially have concerns over whether we had enough sun available to power them, but after talking with my friend she assured me that even in the winter months the lights still provide plenty of luminance at night and sure enough after getting my own they certainly proved that. I have to admit it brings a somewhat warm glow when i can sit back and enjoy the lights solar glow and know i'm doing my part for the environment, however small.

Overall i was really chuffed with how they turned out and am proud to say that i'm not the only house in the street with them as most of our neighbours have since adopted the look and added a range of solar lights products to their garden and as we have quite an open plan to the street i think this looks really great with all the low level lighting provided by them. If you're looking for that something extra in your garden or just want to light up the garden path at night then these lights are certainly worth taking a look at.
